This is a quilt that I’ve been “working on” since June… Lol
After finishing my first hand quilted kitty quilt, I decided to make quilts for my family too. So this one is for my little sister, it’s a Boxed Squares quilt using a pastel jelly roll from Joan’s.
I decided to make this quilt bigger, instead of making 10 rows of 8 squares , I’m making it 10 rows of 10 squares.
I hand sewed the first 50 squares, then got my babylock sewing machine and machine sewed the rest! 🙂 it’s still a work in progress!
Here’s a collection of pictures that I’ve taken throughout the building of these blocks! 🙂 enjoy!
This is where I paused and started anther project!! Lol
I’ve got about two rows put together and plan on working on it some more eventually! 🙂
My sister is turning 18 in January 2014 and graduating that following June!! This would make a great gift, lets see how far I get! 🙂
I will post my progress as I go!
I leave you with pictures of my backyard pets, a new litter of raccoons! 🙂 they’re too adorable!
Toodles for now,
Diana, Jeanie, Timmy, baby raccoons and Ray<3
I love all the pic’s of your babies and to raccoons. And the quilt is awesome. 🙂

Thank you 🙂 my sister loves pastels, so when I saw this Jelly roll I knew I had to make something for my little sis! 🙂
And awee, thanks!
And yes. Timmy is quite the character 😛 he’s grumpy one minute and lovey dovey the next!
All of my furr-babies always surprise me with their facial expressions! Do you have any furr-babies?

Cute quilt! And be careful with those raccoons. They can carry rabies. Keep your cats away from them. Went to the beach a few weeks ago. It’s a large park facing the bay. Around 5 p.m. the raccoons came out in force. One came up to me about two inches away. I got the heck out of there!

Thank you! 🙂 and most definitely! Two of my three babies are strictly indoors, and funny enough, Timmy who is almost always outside will sometimes walk along the fence or my neighbors roof with the raccoons, like friends! Lol
But yeah, some raccoons are too wild!
Thanks for reading Irma, I hope that you read the post on my birthday, you are one of my five lucky winners!! 🙂 I need your info, so check out the post to claim your prize!
