Hello hello everyone, I do apologize for my absence on my blog, I’ve been very busy! 🙂
But updates coming very very soon!
One thing that has been eating up my time is this “pendant light for quilting” that I saw in this zippy strippy video by Quilt Crafts…
This woman has a neat lamp hanging around her neck, that has a 6 foot cord, and just illuminates your machines sewing and anything you work on!
It’s something I’ve been looking for because those book reading clip on lights are just so fussy and don’t work for me quilting in bed.
I’ve left comments on her youtube account.. She also promotes it on her Quilt Crafts Facebook linking to a store call painfreequilting.com… But they are out of stock..oh, don’t bother emailing them or contacting them; they have poor customer service , not answering calls and not responding to emails.. Plenty of comments on their Facebook and youtube pages about not being responded too since February 2012.
If they simply stated that they won’t be selling them anymore, then maybe I wouldn’t be so frustrated..
But in my attempts to still find a light for my crafting, I remember at the quilt festival , at Cotton & Chocolate Quilt Company booth, Jerry[owner with his wife] had a “Beam N Read” light around his neck!!
It is a medium sized , battery operated, light that can be adjusted to length on the neck strap and very useful!
I just ordered mine!! 🙂 go and order yours and enjoy your crafting with some extra light to help you out!
Find their store here and the direct page to buy a Beam N Read light here!!
Hope this helps and thanks for reading! 🙂

Hi Ray, I have that same pendant lamp…and have for years, I do love it, however I lost a screw on the left side leaving me with out the left neck hook,I have been trying to reach this manufacture for years now and they don’t respond or pick up their phone. The voice mail is always full, at this point I’ve decided to use glue backed velcro on it and hopefully it’ll work.
how do I find and buy one of these lights beam and read
How do I find the pendant lamp hanging from the white haired woman’s neck in the first photo shown on this web page?
Where do I find a pendant light for hand sewing? And how much do they cost? Thanks, koren
Thank you for posting about the Beam and Read! I’m just getting into crocheting and quilting and this would help so much. I was so into the Pendant Lamp and I’m surprised no one else has picked up the product to sell, because it would be amazing!!!
