I swear quilting and babies are so synonymous to me now!!
I’ve always loved kids and want to start a family soon, a lot more now that I’m sewing and quilting!! There are so many adorable patterns, quilts, clothes, diapers and , oh my goodness, the list is endless of things I want to make for kids. Am I the only one with baby fever and have no babies to make things for? Lol
I literally fight the urge to buy patterns like these on sale at Joan’s!
I did get the little shopping cart cover kit to just get it out of my system, so I’m excited about that! I also bought that American flag “Magic Quilt” kit because I’m a proud American! 🙂
I finished it earlier today, I will post on that soon!
I just wanted to write a little on my baby/quilting obsession before getting to the main theme of this post : my new and IMPROVED Crafty Room!

Our amazing contractor bought sheets of perforated hardboard, aka pegboard, and covered my walls!! 🙂 I am so grateful for our contractor!! He’s built me a great crafty room, helped me “install” my foam tiles and now my walls!! And kudos to mr.x for allowing me to have my own crafty room and everything I need to sew and craft on<3

Here's a pictorial tour of my crafty room now!

I’m making , or at least attempting to make, some curtains for the master bedroom… But can’t quite figure out how to get them even. With the left over fabric, I decided to practice and make small curtains for my small windows. 🙂 not too shabby! Now the hot sun can’t peak in and make my crafty room hot!!

Well there we go! 🙂 this is the current state of my crafty room.. Lets see what it looks like after a couple of projects! Lol
What do you think? 🙂
I’m motivated to get to sewing and crafting!!

Which reminds me, I made this “magic baby blanket” in class, and it’s opened my eyes to seeing that my baby Jeanie just HAS TO BE MIXED WITH AN OCECAT!!! Lol or an “ocelot”, but look, “Ocecat: Wild looking cat with the best domestic cat personality”, THAT’S JEANIE!!! Lol
Mr. X just absolutely loves this kitty cat panel and asked me to make a quilt for our bed out of it! So off I went, buying $230 worth of fabric, almost 20 yards of fabric, to make a California king kitty quilt! 🙂
Something I hope to start VERY SOON! 🙂
I plan to cut out each kitty “block” and make it a window with tan brown sashing.
Wish me luck!
Thanks for reading and keep liking and commenting on my blog! A freebie / give-away coming when I get more hits!! Woo-hoo!!

Toodles for now,
Diana, Jeanie and Ray<3
