My last day at the Quilt Festival!

On my third day at the quilt festival ,well actually everyday I was there, I snapped pictures with my iPad and it got a lot of attention! 🙂
I bought this skin ,at skinit.com, with Raymond’s baby picture 🙂
isn’t he adorable!? This picture was taken on the drive home when we first got Ray! He was only 3 pounds in this picture, now he’s almost 15 pounds!
Every time I take a picture of someone, they giggle and ask about Ray’s picture on the back of my iPad!
I just thought I’d mention that since a lot of my followers are interested in where I got my iPad skin/cover.

I was finally able to browse and snap pictures of some of the beautiful quilts on display. There were so many and so little time but these in particular I really enjoyed! 🙂

I also bought some more goodies!!

I bought a beginner kit on little easy to make hexagons using paper pieces at the Cotton & Chocolate Quilt Company‘s booth. It’s a ready-to-go kit with 1″ hexagon paper pieces, a fabric glue stick, needles, thread, and easy picture instructions on how to make adorable hexagons!
I also bought a pink seam ripper and a pink needle threaded, I love pink, can you tell? 🙂
They also have this fun and easy instructional book on how to quilt using the “sew simple pineapple” technique. Check out their website here and their blog here.

They offer a variety of fabric sheets ,in various sizes, to print your precious memories and use on your quilts, how neat is that?? 🙂

I’ve been wanting to create a table runner, but hadn’t quite found a pattern I like, or just the right fabric combination, until I came across Jordan Fabrics booth. They have SO many , and I mean SO MANY, pre-cut fabrics in every shape , color and size to make table runners, log cabins and quilt tops!!! I couldn’t help but get some pinks for a table runner! 🙂 I’M READY! 🙂
Definitely getting some more of these! 🙂

On my way out, I spotted this! The Fabric Organizer offers fabric holders and organizers for your fabric! I know you have quite the collection of fabric like I do, so this may help you too! They have holders in different sizes for binding, scraps and yards of fabric! It has little snaps on each holder to safely snap the end of your fabric and roll on! These easy-to-use holders were created in the perfect size to organize and store in most bins and plastic boxes!
I will definitely be purchasing a handful online!
Check out their products here.

I was also able to buy a large, long “I Love Quilting” tote at the festival’s souvenir booth. 🙂 Ray decided to hide in and around it while I was taking pictures in my crafty room! Silly goose!

I also bought a couple of pink shirts for keepsakes and one to cut! 🙂
This one is actually a 1X sized shirt, I was able to cut the shoulders off and weave the back twice!
What do you think?
Would you like a tutorial on how to weave your tee-shirt? 🙂

I hope to hear your comments and thoughts , thank you for reading and don’t forget about my Birthday Freebie this month! (Details here)

Toodles for now,
Diana and Ray<3
