My birthday AND a freebie!

I will be turning 21 in 21 DAYS! 🙂
I am so excited!!
I’m very grateful to be where I’m at in my life, have a stable home with my boyfriend, a great family, humble friends and, now, my new crafting hobby!

When I started to blog, I was so intimidated and feared being critiqued at not being the best sewer or quilter or crafter, but the response has been so positive and encouraging! I’d like to thank everyone who’s welcomed me with open arms, that comment and read my blog; it brings me joy!

With that said, my birthday is at the end of the month and I’m not sure what I’d like! I have everything I want, but that doesn’t mean I can’t look!
😛

I saw this quilters table at my local Joann’s, and it caught my attention, a table to help me expedite my projects .
Is it worth it? Does anyone have some sort of quilters table that they love and really is worth the money? I’d love to hear from you, I want something I can truly use in my crafty room to make my crafting more enjoyable. 🙂

  2. I don’t know how to craft. quilt or sew…hahaha. But I am a quick learner. Have things in your crafty room that inspire you and gives you motivation. Sometimes, you can get stuck and discouraged, so it would be nice to have things in it that will keep you going…Create something new and different…

    1. Well I’m sure you can learn with patience and a good teacher! 🙂
I have a lot of pink stuff and A LOT more fabric in my crafty room that motivate me to sew on! Lol thanks for that! That’s a great idea!

  3. I’m glad you started your blog to share your new hobby, I did the same and at first you feel a bit intimidated because everyone on here is a pro at thier crafts but everyone is also so nice and inspirational. We are moving house at the end of the year, after reading your blog and seeing your shed, I’ve convinced the husband I need an upgrade from my table in the corner…I need a shed! Happy crafting and happy birthday for three weeks xxxx

    1. Thank you for the kind words! 🙂
And I agree, everyone seems to have such as well put together blog and posts and just “Martha Stewart” incredible projects!!! Lol and I used to put off starting a blog with the thought of “why would anyone read my stuff as a beginner when they can read an experience crafters blog?” But then I thought, even if I had few readers, I’d still be able to share with them my progress on my work and document what I do to show my kids someday, then that’s good enough for me. And it is! 🙂 I’m very happy and meeting people like you just make it that much more worth it<3
And that's great to hear, I hope you find a home that'll provide you a great crafting space! I hope you post pictures and tag me, I'd love to see!!

      Thanks for reading, take care!

  4. Your cats are adorable and they look like they own the place. I use a plain six foot long table, and have 12 feet of wall shelving and separate drawer units to hold my tools and fabrics. Also, baskets atop the shelving. I have enough fabric to open a fabric store! Hope you get all you dream about for your birthday!

    1. Oh they do! Lol
And thank you for that, I’m curious to see what your wall of fabric and supplies look like! I’ve been looking into perforated hardboard for my walls, but I’m not sure if shelves are better! I will keep you posted!
      Thanks for reading and commenting!
